hey all! :D

aaaah it still hasnt sunken in that im in canada, away from you guys. but i do know one thing: IT IS SO DARNIT COLD HERE! and i have to walk to school looking like a big fat pink marshmallow. and then my nose runs (and my feet smell haha) and i dont even know cos i cant even feel that i have a nose cos its gone all numb =x but i get to wake up at 7 cos school starts at 8.20am. oops that doesnt exactly sound like a good deal eh? but its still better than the 6.20 back then?

but the thing is, im going to school while you all are slacking around enjoying the holidays! high school's really different; and i miss st nicks and twocharity so much! it's like down here everybody moves around alot cos of the different classes. this semester i have geography, physical education, english and art. and this is our timetable for every single day till january. then it's dramatic arts, integrated tech (like D&T), math and sciene. how the heck did i get stuck with art when every secthree lives to see the time they get to drop art? |x ohwell. we're designing an insect from parts of different insects. and we have to fill out a form on the insect's particulars and im gonna say it originated from singapore (: or more specifically, the red cloth/sleeping bag/cosy corner in the corner of twocharity classroom because the people who slept down there are so stinky and thus a great environment for my insect to thrive in :D

and during lunch break from 1100 to 1215hrs, we get to go anywhere we want to as long as we get back to class on time. so i go to the mall! haha then get to shop too. ohoh and for phys ed, it's like all girls and we all change into our pe attire together. the first time i stepped into the changing room i saw clothes strewn everywhere and people pulling their tops off, i was like so shocked. then this girl riana (at first i kept calling her brianna) told me i could use one of the two cubicles if i wanted. I DID. haha but then later i couldnt be bothered and just changed with everyone. but anyway now we're doing sex education. reminded me of bio class (:

and you can suck on lollipops in class and people talk alot and it's really kinda rowdy. but you get used to it. ohoh and before the start of each pe lesson, we throw a pair of dice to determine the number of minutes we have to run around the gym. so the worst would be 12mins. and when i threw, guess what? i threw 11. eleven. shi2 yi1 (see i remember chinese!)

and they play music during phys ed. and during lunch people go out to smoke. it's definitely alot different. i kinda miss the morning assemblies back in sn; here it's just stand up for the national anthem. no pledge! eh no, dont miss those boring speeches, but you know, the routine and assurance of it all. it's comforting. and to sirui who said i'd cry every single night here, i cried two nights ago when i looked at neoprints. why? cos they dont have neprint machines here! the best they have is that kind of $4 ones back there. the kind with frames and you just stick your head in there and the quality is so lousy. and ready-to-peel ): and besides that, i just was so upset about leaving life there behind. and about the stupid anne frank i had to read. we're doing romeo and juliet now and next year we're doing macbeth.
